Keep your candle away from children and pets.
Keep candles away from curtains or anything around the candle that could ignite. Make sure candle is on a stable, nonflammable surface before lighting.
Burn no more than 4 hours at a time.
Trim the wick to 1/4" before each use. This will help the candle burn evenly and extend the life of the candle.
Always keep candles in sight when in use.
Never move a burning candle. Allow the candle to cool and solidify before moving it. The candle container can become hot when in use so make sure it is cool before moving it.
Use a candle plate to protect surfaces. Never put a candle directly on a surface that is flammable or could be damaged by heat or oil.
Do not burn candles in a drafty area.
If a wick develops a mushroom carbon on tip, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool and cut off the tip of wick/trim wick... keep it at 1/4".
